P&C NEWS November 2023
The solar eclipse on 14 October 2023 was annular, meaning the moon passed directly in front of the sun. The moon appeared slightly smaller, leaving a bright ring around the moon's silhouette. This is the first to pass over the continental U.S. since the total eclipse of August 2017. The path of annularity - where the ring effect was seen - crossed parts of the United States, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, and Colombia. The next total solar eclipse over the United States is expected to occur on April 8, 2024. Are you excited to catch a glimpse next year?
